In the face of climate change and the continuous rise in fossil fuel prices, replacing your old gas or oil boiler is both an economic and ecological act… Ecological, efficient, and economical, the high temperature heat pump allows for efficient heating of a home. It is particularly suitable for the renovation of an old house. It can generate up to 70% energy savings and is eligible for financial aid granted by the State.
The energy diagnosis allows you to precisely determine the heating needs of your house based on its characteristics (insulation, size, sun exposure, etc.). This ensures that the new heating system will be appropriately sized to avoid wasting energy and money.
We therefore carry out your energy diagnosis to offer you the best solution that will allow you to achieve significant energy savings in the long term. You will thus be able to reduce your energy consumption and heating costs.
With an average COP (coefficient of performance) of 3, this means it uses 1 kWh to give you back 3 kWh in heating. Under optimal conditions, this COP can go up to 6!
A high temperature heat pump is an Air-Water heat pump that raises the temperature of the water feeding the heating circuit to 75 °C, compared to 45 °C for a so-called low temperature heat pump. They are also capable of operating when outdoor temperatures are very low (down to -20 °C).
The high temperature heat pump is designed to work with old radiators such as cast iron ones. It is therefore particularly suitable for renovation. Its high energy efficiency allows it to effectively heat an old house whose insulation is not optimal.
Despite these performances, the energy diagnosis may lead us to advise you to undertake other work before its installation.
Available in a range of powers from 12 to 20 kW, our high temperature heat pumps can be connected to existing circuits without major work.
So if you have a house combining underfloor heating and radiators, there is no problem. The indoor units including buffer tanks can also produce domestic hot water up to a volume of 390L.
The high temperature heat pump operates in the same way as all air-water heat pumps. It draws calories from the outside air to convert them into heat to be distributed through the home’s heating circuit. It can also handle cooling the house in summer depending on the existing installation.
Our outdoor units measure 1 meter high by 1.10 meters wide with sound emissions of less than 55 decibels according to EN 12102 standards. They are therefore eligible for all state and municipal aid. They generally allow the complete replacement of an old oil or gas boiler over 10 years old. And if this is your case, you also benefit from an exceptional Enoprime bonus.
